Warwickshire based Power Nation Cheer ltd decided to invest in a complete production print & cut solution.
Managing Director, Ryan Cleaver has seen consistent growth in the company over 20 years – building a company that is now one of the UK’s largest suppliers of cheer leading apparel with products ranging from customised apparel and uniforms to sprung floors and cheer camps. All products are designed by cheerleaders for cheerleaders, so they understand the quality and comfort needed to perform and train your very best.
Power Nation are now working with more than 300 cheer leading clubs across the UK & Europe, they have surpassed 2000 orders and to maintain their level of quality and uniqueness are still looking for ways to develop their own bespoke design services.
Powerful printing with the Mutoh ValueJet 1624x
The printer Digital Office recommended was from Mutoh’s sign & display range. The ValueJet 1624x offers unrivalled print quality thanks to its high-precision mechanical design, latest piezo inkjet head technology and unprecedented ease of use. Robustly built, the VJ-1624x can reach production speeds of up to 20.5 m2/h and meets Power Nation’s demand for flexibility when requiring larger or quicker print runs without compromising on quality. This wide format printer is an ideal fit – with its ability to produce long term indoor and outdoor prints on a vast array of coated and uncoated substrates including: posters, backlit signage, wall coverings, point of sale displays, fine art reproduction, vehicle wraps and much more.
Accurate and versatile, the Keencut Sabre Series 2 cutter
To compliment the ValueJet 1624x, the Keencut Sabre Series 2 was the match, efficiently engineered for one off or volume production, the Sabre-Series 2 offers the same exact cutting capabilities as the Keencut Simplex and is constructed on an anodised aluminium baseboard.
The Sabre-Series 2 is designed for use on a bench or attached to the optional stand. Using the lockable castors (included with stand) Sabre-Series 2 can be moved and positioned alongside any wide-format printer. Also available with optional waste catcher and roll feed the Sabre-Series 2 is a versatile cutter with no equal.
A recess integral to the base protects the blade tip when cutting and a cutting mat can be added for cutting textiles. Full length silicon rubber grip strips in the Sabre-Series 2 base and underside of the cutter bar clamp materials when cutting and provide protection to even the most sensitive surfaces.
The blades cut to a depth of 13mm (0.5”) and the patented linear bearings have been tested under load for 1600km (1000 miles) and carry a 20 year guarantee.
